Egypt Again.. exposing the underlying beauty of Egypt

ALEXANDRIA, Egypt - 13 August 2017:- In an attempt to restore the image of the real Egyptian beauty by the lenses of different photographers all around the country, Adasa Photography Club in Alexandria, under the supervision of its founder, Engineer Alaa El-Basha, has launched the idea of "Egypt Again" in April 2010 as a proposal to the French Cultural Center, but which actually came to life in March 2016.

The project aims to document Egypt with photography by different volunteers all around the country. The Egypt Again project is launched in cooperation with the National Organization for Urban Harmony, Tourism Promotion Authority, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Antiquities, and partnering with the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria.

Adasa Photography Club is a non-profit organization aiming at gathering and distributing knowledge about the art of photography and gathering the society of photographers around Egypt, where they can help, educate and work on mutual projects. It started its activities on February 1, 2011.

Adasa started to monitor and record all the developments of the Egyptian society after the revolution in 2011, in all aspects of political, social and artistic life. "Egypt witnessed an artistic and cultural revolution in the street that needs to be documented. With different expressions of the freedoms, as well as the destruction, and of our cultural heritage, Egypt has undergone big changes in all aspects of life, and this needs to be documented," stated Alaa El-Basha on the Egypt Again page.
