Sisi reviews projects implemented by Antiquities Ministry

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met on Tuesday 21/4/2015 with Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh El-Damati at the presidency headquarters. Damati reviewed a number of projects implemented by the ministry, such as resuming work at Akhenaton museum in Menya as well as the ministry’s efforts to activate a comprehensive vision to renovate the monuments. The minister reviewed the current contacts with a number of countries, especially Germany, for cooperation in the field of antiquities, Presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said. Sisi gave directives on following up all the projects precisely and finishing them on time to maintain the Egyptian heritage and activate the role of antiquities sector in the Egyptian economic activity.
