Ancient Egypt:
Looking Out and Looking In

3rd Annual Birmingham Egyptology Symposium
19th February 2016

 

Birmingham Egyptology is proud to announce its Third Annual Symposium to be held at the University of Birmingham. The day will include 12 papers, including a keynote lecture by Dr. David Gange, and 4 posters relating to the reception or perception of Ancient Egypt by other cultures, both ancient and modern, and/or the relationships and attitudes of Ancient Egypt toward contemporary cultures.

Lunch, refreshments, and a wine reception will be provided.

Attendance at the symposium is free of charge, however, as numbers are limited admittance is only by prior registration.
