Fri, 16/10/2015 - 17:08
Near the Red Sea coast of Makadi Bay, south of Hurghada, you
can walk around the tourist landmarks of Cairo, Alexandria and Aswan
through an exhibition called Mini Egypt.
A tourist can see in two hours the most prominent landmarks, a
total of 60, of Egypt in the exhibition. The exhibition helps tourists
choose the landmarks they would like to visit.
Exhibition manager Samir Gharib said the exhibition took one year to build.
The exhibition includes models for Abu Simbel Temple, the High Dam
in Aswan, Edfu Temple, the Temple of Luxor, Karnak Temple and other
temples on the western bank of the Nile, the Sphinx, the Pyramids of
Giza, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the Citadel, Cairo Tower, Tahrir
Square, Maspero, Stanley Bridge in Alexandria, the Roman Amphitheater,
Montaza Palace, Qaitbay Castle and the Library of Alexandria.
