2500 artifacts to be moved to GEM | Luxor Times

A team of the GEM (Grand Egyptian Museum) started a two-weeks job of packing and transferring 2500 artefacts from the storehouse in town of Mansoura in the middle of the Nile Delta.
The objects to be taken to the future biggest museum in the world vary from Predynastic alabaster pots to dynasty 30th granite statues and late period limestone sarcophagi.

Once the objects received at the GEM, needed restoration and preservation procedures will be taken.
