Grand Egyptian museum receives 430 artifacts from Egyptian museum in Tahrir

The Grand Egyptian Museum received 430 artifacts from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir in order to be displayed during the opening of the Grand Museum, said the general supervisor of the museum Tarek Tawfik.
In statements on Thursday 07/04/2016, Tawfik said transferring of the artifacts was conducted under the full supervision of antiquities inspectors and with full coordination with tourism police.
The artifacts date back to the First Dynasty of ancient Egypt, he added.
