"Pottery and Ceramics through ages"

Archaeological research combines a complex of different

methodologies and disciplines in constantevolution. The

fourth symposium “Pottery and ceramics through ages" will

put together scholars operating in the field of archaeology

and conservation, sharing their research experiences and

debating on the experimentation of new approaches and on the

application of innovative methodologies.



Participants are invited to submit their abstracts, according

to the following topics:

·Types of archaeological pottery and ceramics through ages.

·The importance of pottery and ceramics in the archaeological

field.

·Manufacture development of pottery and ceramics through ages.

·Development of archaeological and heritage pottery and ceramics

decorations through ages.

· Sign manufacturers on pottery and ceramics through ages.

·Mutual influences in pottery and ceramics manufacture between

Mediterranean countries and outside world.

·Dating techniques of archaeological pottery and ceramics.

·Analysis and investigation techniques of archaeological pottery

and ceramics.

·First aids of archaeological pottery and ceramics in Excavation

areas.

·Conservation of archaeological pottery and ceramics in museums

and storages.

·Exhibition and storage of archaeological pottery and ceramics.



Abstracts submission

Participants are invited to submit electronically

(gomaaabdelmaksoud@yahoo.com) abstracts written in English or

Arabic, with a maximum length of 5 pages (Times New Roman 12,

space 1.5, including references, tables and images), illustrating

the subject of their presentation. Applications from Ph.D students

and early career researches are warmly welcomed.

Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in

an abstract book.



Deadlines

Abstract submission: April 15th.

Notification of the abstract selection: April 20th.
