Conserving and Documenting Egypt's Coptic Icons
From 1998 to 2004, ARCE carried out a comprehensive project to document and conserve Coptic icons - visually striking and spiritually invaluable images that are rooted in early Coptic artistic practice. The project aimed to record, document and conserve known remaining icons in Egypt and included on-the-job training to conservators and icon custodians. > >
