A 3D video mapping Display on the Qayetbay façade

Minister of Antiquities Dr. Mamdouh Eldamty will participate in opening event of the 3D videomapping projected on the walls of Qayetbay Fort in Alexandria tomorrow Thursday Auguts 17th at 7:30 pm. The event comes in collaboration between the Ministry of Antiquities and Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The display comes within the activities of "the International Augmented Med – IAM" Project that narrates the legendary story of Queen Cleopatra as one of the great mysteries of Alexandria.
Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Dr. Ismail Serag Eldin said that this project presents some initiatives aiming at enhancing the popularity of the natural and cultural heritage sites. He added also that the project is funded by ENPI CBC. The 2007-2013 ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme is a multilateral Cross-Border Cooperation initiative funded by the European Neighborhood.
IAM is a national cooperation project with 14 partners from 7 different countries from the Mediterranean Basin, it aims at establishing a system of cooperation to connect experts in multimedia and tourism promotion.
