Sunken cannons dating back to Napoleon’s campaign discovered in Alexandria

Mohamed Mostafa Abdel Meguid, general supervisor of the
Alexandria Sunken Antiquities Department, said a Russian excavation
mission discovered two cannons and three anchors dating back to
Napoleon’s campaign in the western port of Alexandria and in Abu Qir.
