Mahlab, Antiquities Minister review developing museums

Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met with Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damaty on Thursday 20/08/2015. During the meeting, el Damaty explained the steps taken in the projects implemented by his ministry to develop museums and archaeological sites in all governorates. For his part, Mahlab underlined that the Cabinet saves no effort to preserve the Egyptian heritage. The antiquities minister discussed with the premier proposals including a suggestion to develop the surrounding area of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir as part of "Reviving Egyptian Museum Initiative" which aims at upgrading the museum.
