University of Bristol Egypt expert Dr Aidan Dodson comes to Sherborne

Early Egyptology and the part played by people in the South West will be explored in an event in Sherborne.
Somerset and Dorset Family History Society is hosting the afternoon - entitled Travellers (and Researchers) in an Antique Land - at the Family History Centre on Saturday, 24th October.
Dr Aidan Dodson of the University of Bristol will talk about the important contributions made by people from the South West to the story of early Egyptology.
Dr Dodson has published a number of books and is one of the editors of a history of Egyptology being published in 2016.
