Stolen artefacts from IS-controlled zones surface in London

18 September 2015 Last updated at 20:14 BST
A leading archaeologist has warned that antiques shops in London are profiting from selling stolen artefacts from the so-called Islamic State-controlled conflict zones.
Dr Mark Altaweel from the Institute of Archaeology, University College London, claims the problem of selling looted artefacts is widespread in the capital.
Earlier this year a statue, which had been smuggled from Libya, was seized by customs and is being held at the British Museum.
BBC London's Charlotte Franks spoke to Dr Mark Altaweel, Christopher Marinello from the Art Recovery Group and James Ede, chairman of Charles Ede Antiques.
