Antiquities Inaugurates Exhibition Dedicated to Egypt's Military History
Dr. Mostafa Waziri, the secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, inaugurated a temporary exhibition dedicated to Egypt's military history at "The Glory of Ancient Thebes" Hall, Luxor Museum.Several members from archaeological missions working at El-Assasif, and the directors of various archaeological sites in Luxor.
In the same context, Waziri said that the exhibition displays 50 artifacts that portray the military history of Egypt since prehistory, and ancient Egyptian eras, the Greco-Roman period, and the Islamic era.

Some of the exhibited pieces are a collection of wooden arrows, knives, war drums, bombs, a shield from colorful wood, and a collection of swords.
He added that the duration of the exhibition is one month, asserting that visitors were pleased with visiting it.
