Video: Adult actress apologizes to Egypt for explicit photo in front of Pyramids
CAIRO: Adult movie actress and model Carmen De Luz recorded an apology Sunday addressed to “my Egyptians” and “my fans” after a photo in which exposed her body in front of the Giza Pyramids went viral and drew criticism from Egyptians on social media.
In a video recorded for Youm7, De Luz said that she did not mean to disrespect to Egypt, “a country that I love,” and denied that she was involved in any plans to shoot a pornographic film by the landmarks.

De Luz has a modest following on Instagram and Twitter, and is not the first person to land in hot water for alleged misconduct by the Pyramids. In March, the Antiquities Minister stated that a “female foreign tourist” had recorded a pornographic scene in the necropolis, and referred the matter to the public prosecutor.
