CAIRO: A fair of contemporary artists and local craftspeople will be held Thursday Oct. 1 from 6-9 p.m. in Cairo’s “City of the Dead.”

The fair, organized by the Egypt-Europe Cultural Cooperation program, will display “include hand-blown glass, silver inlay, brass, silver jewelry, mother-of-pearl inlays, and turned-wood furniture.”

There will also be a screening of the documentary film “Hands On,” discussing the work of Egyptian craftspeople.
