Egypt, China agree to establish opera house in Luxor as symbol of cultural cooperation |

Culture Minister Helmy Namnam said on Tuesday 19/1/2016 that Cairo and Beijing agreed on building an opera house in Luxor as a symbol for the strong relations linking both countries. The minister made the remarks during a meeting with his visiting Chinese counterpart Luo Shugang in Luxor. The ministers discussed preparations for the opening ceremony of the 2016 Sino-Egyptian Culture Year, which marks the 60th anniversary of joint diplomatic relations.
