Advance digital technologies for reverse engineering and modelling have long been used in industry . Now in an unprecedented project, it has been shown that these technologies can be used to help conserve the tomb of Seti I. This book describes the research and development that has gone into making this possible.
Seti I was a Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt during the 19th dynasty. His tomb is the longest and the deepest in the Valley of the Kings and he was celebrated for his high regard in art and culture. His tomb was perhaps the pinnacle of his architectural projects, with highly refined bas-relief wall paintings.
